An integration teaches the agent to drive a plugin you already use. Delta does not replace the plugin: Contact Form 7 still owns mail and spam, WooCommerce still owns orders and payments. The integration gives the agent the abilities to create, read and place that plugin’s things, and to make them match your design.
See them under Delta → Integrations.
The plugin stays in charge
Delta works through what each plugin provides: its own abilities, its PHP functions and its REST API. It does not copy the plugin’s logic. So the plugin’s own checks apply to every change the agent makes, and what you set in the plugin’s own screens stays as it is when the agent changes something else.
Many plugins now publish their own abilities: WooCommerce, WPForms, WS Form, Secure Custom Fields, Meta Box, Ninja Forms, Fluent Forms, Gravity Forms, SureRank and SEOPress. Delta lets your agent run them, with the same switches and confirmations as Delta’s own. For plugins that publish none, such as Contact Form 7, Advanced Custom Fields, Custom Post Type UI, Pods, Meta Box, Forminator, JetEngine, Redirection and Simply Static, Delta adds a set of abilities of its own. When the plugin later publishes an ability that does the same job, Delta’s version steps aside.
Some plugins turn their abilities on in their own settings. Gravity Forms and Fluent Forms need their MCP setting on; WPForms needs it for changes. SureRank needs Enable MCP on under Tools; SEOPress needs Expose abilities to AI agents on under Advanced settings; WS Form’s Allow Updates and Allow Deletes settings decide which of its abilities may write. If the agent cannot find a plugin’s abilities, check that setting first.
On the Abilities screen, each plugin’s abilities have their own tab, with a switch for each one.
An integration is live only while its plugin is
The abilities appear when the plugin is active and disappear when it is not. Deactivate WooCommerce and the product abilities go with it; reactivate it and they return. Nothing is lost in between.
This is why an agent that worked yesterday can report a missing ability today. The usual cause is a deactivated plugin.
Each integration also brings its own skills and rules for the agent, so the agent knows how that plugin works. When the plugin is off, its skill says so instead of describing it.
What each one asks of you
Every integration shows one of four actions.
| Action | Means |
|---|---|
| Install | Delta can install and activate the plugin for you |
| Activate | The plugin is present but switched off |
| Manual | A premium plugin. You install it yourself, then Delta picks it up |
| None | Active and ready |
The agent asks first
Installing or activating a plugin changes the site for everyone, so the agent proposes it and waits. It will not install a plugin as a side effect of a request to build something.
If you would rather choose the plugin yourself, say so and install it before you start.
