What personal data this website and the Delta theme collect, why we collect it, and what you can do about it.
Last updated
1. Who we are
This website and the Delta theme are supplied by SmallTownDev, of Ward no. 17, Ganeshpura, Ganj Basoda, Madhya Pradesh, India – 464221. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean that company. We are the data controller for the personal data described here. Use the Contact page to reach us about privacy.
2. The short version
- We use Google Analytics to count visits, and Google Ads and Meta (Facebook and Instagram) to measure whether our ads bring people here, but only if you accept them in the cookie banner. Until you accept, nothing from Google or Meta loads and no Google or Meta cookie is set.
- Visiting this website sets no cookies unless you accept measurement. The one exception is a small cookie that remembers your banner choice. Fonts and icons are served from our own server, not from a third party.
- We receive personal data only when you send it to us: through a form, or through a purchase.
- Purchases, licences and the account page are handled by Freemius, which acts under its own privacy policy.
- The Delta theme on your own site does not send your site content to us.
3. Data you send us through forms
Contact form. When you use the Contact page, we receive the name, email address, subject and message you enter. We use them to answer you. The message is sent to our email inbox, and a copy is kept in the website's form submissions until we delete it.
Updates signup. When you sign up for updates, we receive your email address. It is stored in the website's form submissions and we use it to send you product news about Delta. Every email we send has a way to stop receiving them. [TO CONFIRM: the email tool used to send these messages, once one is connected.]
The legal basis for both is our legitimate interest in answering you and in telling people who asked about the product. We keep messages for as long as the conversation is open, and signup addresses until you unsubscribe.
4. Purchases, licences and your account
We use Freemius to sell licences, process payments and manage licence keys. When you buy Delta, Freemius collects your name, email address, billing details and payment information. We do not see or store your card details. Freemius shares with us the data we need to support you: your name, email address, the licence you bought and the sites it is active on.
The Account page on this website is provided by Freemius. When you use it, Freemius processes your data under its own privacy policy. Freemius is the seller of record: the contract of sale and the invoice are between you and Freemius, so Freemius is the controller for the transaction data. We supply the software and the support.
5. The Delta theme on your site
Delta runs on your own WordPress install. The pages, templates and design system it produces stay on your server. We do not receive them.
Delta connects to Freemius to check your licence and to deliver updates. That connection sends your licence key, your site address and basic environment details such as the WordPress and PHP versions. When you activate the theme, Freemius asks whether you also want to share anonymous usage data with us. You can say no, and Delta works the same way.
When you connect an AI agent to Delta, the agent and its provider process whatever you send them. That happens under the provider's terms and privacy policy, not ours. The same applies to the on-page chat panel, which talks to the provider you configure with your own API key. We do not receive those conversations.
When Delta installs an integration plugin at your request, that plugin has its own privacy terms.
6. Cookies, analytics and ads
Your choice comes first. When you first visit, a banner asks whether we may use Google Analytics, Google Ads measurement and the Meta Pixel. Until you choose Accept, nothing from Google or Meta loads and no Google or Meta cookie is set. You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link in the footer. Choosing Decline removes the analytics and ads cookies from your browser and tells Google and Meta that consent is withdrawn.
The consent cookie. Your choice is stored in a cookie called delta_consent on this website only. It holds your choice, "granted" or "denied", and a version number for this section, and nothing else. It expires after 180 days, and if this section changes you are asked again. It is strictly necessary to remember your choice, so it does not itself need consent.
Google Analytics. If you accept, we load Google Analytics 4. It records the pages you view, the page you came from, the approximate location derived from your IP address, your browser and device type, and a random identifier that tells one visitor apart from another. It does not receive your name or email address. Google sets the cookies _ga and _ga_ followed by our property ID; both last up to two years. We use this data to see which pages are read and where visitors come from. The legal basis is your consent. Site administrators are not measured.
Google Ads. If you accept, the same Google tag also measures our advertising. When you arrive from one of our Google ads, Google stores the click identifier in the cookies _gcl_au and _gcl_aw, which last up to 90 days, so that a purchase or a visit to the pricing page can be matched to the ad that brought you here. Google may also use your visit to build audiences for our own ads on Google services, so that Delta can be shown again to people who have looked at it, and to people with similar interests. We never use this data to show you ads for anyone else, and we do not send Google your name or email address. The legal basis is your consent, and Decline withdraws it.
Meta Pixel. If you accept, we also load the Meta Pixel from Meta Platforms, which runs Facebook and Instagram. It records the pages you view, when you open the checkout, and a completed purchase with its plan and price, so that we can see which of our Facebook and Instagram ads bring visitors and sales. Meta stores identifiers in the cookies _fbp and, when you arrive from one of our ads, _fbc; both last up to 90 days. Meta may link these visits to a Facebook or Instagram account you are signed in to, and may use them to show Delta again to people who have visited, and to people with similar interests. We do not send Meta your name or email address. Meta processes this data under its own privacy policy; Meta Platforms Ireland is joint controller for the collection and transfer of this data. The legal basis is your consent, and Decline withdraws it.
Google LLC processes this data on our behalf under Google's privacy policy and its data processing terms. Google is based in the United States; transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses. Google keeps the event data for [TO CONFIRM: the retention period set in the Analytics property; Google's default is two months].
Other cookies. WordPress sets cookies only if you log in to the website's admin area, and those cookies exist to keep you logged in. The Freemius checkout and account page may set cookies of their own while you use them.
Video. The video on the home page is hosted on YouTube. Nothing from YouTube loads until you click play. When you do, the player loads from youtube-nocookie.com, and Google receives your IP address and browser details and may set cookies while the video plays. This happens under Google's privacy policy.
7. Server logs
Like every website, our hosting provider keeps server logs. A log entry records your IP address, the page you requested, the time, and your browser type. We use logs to keep the site running and secure. [TO CONFIRM: hosting provider and how long logs are kept.]
8. Who else sees your data
We share personal data only with the services named above: Freemius for purchases and licensing, Google for analytics and ads measurement if you accept it, Meta for ads measurement if you accept it, YouTube (Google) if you play the video, our email provider for form messages, and our hosting provider for server logs. We do not sell personal data. The only advertising use is our own: Google and Meta receive measurement data about this website so that we can see which of our ads work and show Delta to people who have looked at it.
Some of these services may be based outside your country. Where the law requires it, transfers rely on standard contractual clauses or an equivalent safeguard.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask us to show you the personal data we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to stop using it. You can also object to a use, or ask for a copy in a portable format. To do any of this, use the Contact page. We answer within one month.
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you can also complain to your data protection authority.
10. Children
This website and our products are for adults and businesses. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
11. Changes to this policy
We can change this policy. We will change the date at the top of this page. If a change is important, we will tell you before it starts to apply.
12. Contact
Use the Contact page to reach us about this policy or about your data.
