Most work happens through the agent. Delta also gives you two places to look and make changes yourself: the Front panel on the live site, and Delta Editor in wp-admin.
Front panel
A panel on the live site, beside the page you are looking at. Click anything on the page to see its HTML, CSS and JavaScript, change its words, or move its sections. Visitors never load it.
Open it from Delta in the admin bar, or press ⌘⇧E (Ctrl+Shift+E on Windows). The Open in Delta Front Panel link in the posts list opens a page with the panel already open. See Front panel for the full tour.
Use it to find where something comes from, to fix a word, or to show the agent exactly which part of the page you mean.
Delta Editor
The code editor. It is always available and needs no setup.
It opens an entry or a template with three panels for HTML, CSS and JavaScript, and writes to the same place the agent writes to. Open it from Delta → Editor. For a page with no public address, such as a draft of a type that is not public, the posts list shows Open in Delta Editor instead of the Front panel link.
Use it for a small correction in the markup that you can make faster than you can describe: a wrong class, a spacing value.
The block editor
When a page carries a Delta design, the block editor no longer edits the body. It says “This content is managed by Delta” and links to the Front panel. The title, the publish controls, the featured image and the other boxes work as they always did.
A page with no Delta design behaves as a normal WordPress page.
Which to use
| Situation | Use |
|---|---|
| Describing a change in words | Your agent |
| Fixing a word or moving a section | Front panel |
| Showing the agent which part you mean | Front panel |
| Trying a new idea before it goes on the site | Sketchbook |
| A quick fix in the markup | Delta Editor |
The UI Editor is gone
Delta 0.2 had a UI Editor: a chat beside a live canvas, which ran on your own OpenAI or Anthropic key. Delta 0.3.0 removes it. Your agent and the Front panel do that work now. When a site updates to 0.3.0, the stored keys, the model settings and the chat history are deleted.
