Released 13 October 2026
All releasesNew features
- Sketchbook boards can now hold JavaScript, like a page, so you can try tabs, sliders and counters on a board. Only users allowed to write JavaScript can add it
- A board's share link can run the board's scripts. This is off by default: turn on "Run scripts on share link" in the board's menu
- A draft page made from a board keeps the board's JavaScript
- Your agent can move a site to a plugin's design system, such as Automatic.css, in one step. It checks every name in use, takes a snapshot first, and renames the names in your styles, components and pages
- Your agent now sees which design names are used on the site but have no value
- The block editor has a plain base style: native posts and pages show in a readable sans-serif, with calmer buttons, quotes, code and tables. A plugin's own editor styles, such as Automatic.css, still come first
Improvements
- Your agent can no longer switch to a plugin's design system in a way that leaves names without a value. It uses the one-step switch instead
- A Delta ability and the SchemaWP ability that replaces it now share one switch on the Abilities page. Turn one off and both are off
- All on and All off no longer change abilities that are hidden because their plugin is off
- Scripts in a board now run in the Front panel for users who may write JavaScript. Before, boards ran no scripts
- The general settings tools can no longer change Delta's own data. Your agent uses the tool made for the page, template, board or setting instead
- Saving Automatic.css settings no longer takes a snapshot when there were no earlier settings to keep
- The Front panel's Design tab lists each spacing step once, without the in-between sizes that Automatic.css adds
- Tested with Automatic.css 4.0.1
- The theme download is about 40% smaller. Code libraries it no longer uses and translation source files are gone
- For developers: new filter 21press_delta_ability_switches, and an integration can list more than one plugin file. The theme no longer includes Guzzle, the OpenAI client or the Anthropic SDK
Fixes
- The Integrations page shows the right installed version of Automatic.css 4.0.1, which installs to a new folder
- Turning off SchemaWP's Agent Connection no longer turns back on an Automatic.css ability you had turned off
- The Automatic.css status now tells you which SchemaWP switch controls it: Agent Connection
- Security: three gaps are closed that needed a Delta user without JavaScript rights, as on a multisite. Board CSS is shown safely, Delta's own data is safe from the general settings tools, and older JavaScript comes back only for users who may write it
